Slab Complete
In what has been a mostly rainy and gloomy start to winter we were lucky to get a couple days of sunshine to complete the concrete pour for the slab.
These are the steps leading from the pergola. They made a couple errors we picked up after we double checked the actual slab dimensions. First of all the width of the pergola was short 590mm. Second the width of the step treads should be wider leading to the backyard. I'm not sure how the surveyor and our builders managed to miss this but they will correct this when they do the pour for the suspended slab.

Electrical and Plumbing Rough-In
The mini excavator made a re-appearance. The mounds of dirt have been flattened and more dirt was brought in to fill the site to the correct levels.
The plumber and electrician used pink spray paint to mark the locations of conduit required.

Brickwork to Footings
With the footings complete there was not much left to do until the bricks arrived. After a couple weeks, the first pallet of bricks finally arrived on the 16th May. More bricks arrived over the next few days including the commons.
