That's some serious footings you have for your slab. Is this because you have very sand soil?
ReplyDeleteYep. The engineer actually specified 50cm deep but the builders ended up going to 80cm. You can see a good cross section of the soil in the earlier photos of the infiltration pit being installed. At least we can be confident the slab won't be budging.
